Abstract: A solid state imaging device having an image area in which a plurality of light receiving pixels is arranged on a semiconductor substrate of a first conductive type is disclosed. The device includes: a plurality of photosensor parts formed by providing on the semiconductor substrate a light receiving area and a photoelectric conversion area both configuring the light receiving pixel; a first well region formed on the opposite side of the light receiving area, having a second conductive type opposite to the first conductive type, and forming an overflow barrier; a second well region of the second conductive type formed in an area except a place corresponding to the photosensor part on the opposite side of the photoelectric conversion area; and a first conductive region formed in an area corresponding to the photosensor part on the opposite side of the photoelectric conversion area.
Abstract: A multiplexing apparatus and method, a transmitting apparatus and method, and a recording medium arranged to prevent a delay of one of multiplexing scheduling processing and multiplexing processing in accordance with a schedule obtained by the multiplexing scheduling processing from influencing the other of these processings. A scheduler calculates schedule information on the basis of access unit information from an encoder and stores the calculated schedule information by supplying it to an intermediate buffer. If some additional data is to be multiplexed, the scheduler also calculates the additional data and stores the calculated additional data by supplying it to an intermediate buffer. A bit stream multiplexer reads out schedule information from the schedule information intermediate buffer, selects data designated by the schedule information from an elementary stream from the encoder and from additional data stored in the additional data intermediate buffer, and outputs the data as a multiplexed stream.
Abstract: An active filter circuit capable of reducing power consumption without limiting dynamic range includes a switch section and a capacitance element disposed between an active filter section and a charge pump section. ON/OFF switching (short/open) of the switch section is controlled by a cut-off frequency judging section according to a status of an adjusting cut-off frequency of the active filter section. When the switch section is in the OFF condition, the capacitance element maintains a voltage to be supplied to a gate terminal and each circuit operation of a frequency adjusting section is stopped, thus reducing power consumption.
Abstract: In a driving pulse output limiting circuit, ideal switching operations are performed in all oscillation permitting frequencies and in all impedance conditions free from excessive surge current stresses due to excessive driving pulse width. While a charging current or a discharging current is being supplied to a capacity 11 which is connected between both ends of a switching element 3 or between windings of a main transformer 7, voltages are generated between both ends of a switching element 2 and between both ends of the switching element 3.
