Abstract: The present technology relates to a focus detecting device and an electronic device that can adjust the maximum value and the minimum value of sensitivity in phase detection pixels. The focus detecting device and an electronic device each include a microlens, a photoreceptor configured to receive light entering through the microlens, a light shield film provided between the microlens and the photoreceptor and configured to limit an amount of light on the photoreceptor, and a light shield wall provided vertical to the light shield film. The light shield wall or the light shield walls having a predetermined height are provided on any one or both of surfaces of the light shield film facing the photoreceptor and the microlens. The present technology can be applied to an imaging device configured to detect a focus by detection of phase difference.
Abstract: A method, performed by a network node, is disclosed, for configuring resources to be used for Wake-Up Signal, WUS, transmission to a plurality of wireless device groups in the communications network. The method comprises obtaining a number of wireless device groups supported by the communications network. The method comprises allocating, based on the obtained number of wireless device groups supported by the communications network, one or more active resources, out of a set of available resources, for WUS for the number of wireless device groups. The method comprises determining, based on a set of resource configuration criteria, a WUS resource configuration defining a mapping of the wireless device groups to the determined one or more active resources. The method comprises providing, to the wireless device, a set of resource configuration parameters indicative of the determined WUS configuration.

Abstract: Stations (STAs) in the network transmit broadcast frames which incorporate sharing information about specific parameter settings in the basic service set (BSS). Updates are transmitted to the other STAs when parameter settings change, which include version information about the parameter settings. A STA receiving an update records version information, which is incorporated in any response or broadcast back to the transmitting station to indicate that the specific update was properly received. The transmitting STA can indicate which other STAs are to provide feedback to the update information. The sharing information, or indicated portions thereof, may be shared with overlapping BSS STAs as well.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a comparator, an AD converter, a solid-state imaging device, an electronic apparatus, and a comparator control method that can reduce power consumption while increasing the determination speed of the comparator. The comparator includes a comparison unit, a positive feedback circuit, and a current limiting unit. The comparison unit compares the voltage of an input signal and the voltage of a reference signal, and outputs a comparison result signal. The positive feedback circuit increases the transition speed at the time when the comparison result signal is inverted. The current limiting unit limits the current flowing in the comparison unit after the inversion of the comparison result signal. The present disclosure can be applied to comparators, for example.
