Abstract: A novel system, apparatus, composition and method provide facile collection of a physical sample, including in particular noninvasive extraction of buccal cells, specifically directed to capture of PCR-ready DNA from such cheek cells. It is particularly useful in achieving simplified collection, transit, processing and storage of biological samples with minimal chain of custody.
