    Abstract: A station is connected to a portable computer to expand various functions of the computer. The portable computer is unitedly and fixedly mounted in the station so that the portable computer can be used as a desk top type computer. A slot board for expanding the functions of the portable computer is not fixed and is detachably mounted in the station. Further, various kinds of slot boards having different function and length are provided and can be exchanged freely it the need arises.
