Abstract: The invention relates to a sound reproduction device (100; 204) for reproducing a first audio signal, the first sound reproduction device (100;204) being configured to operate according to a first mode and a second mode of operation. The sound reproduction device is, in the first mode, configured to determine at least one first signal reproduction parameter for processing the first audio signal when being reproduced by at least one second device (202, 203) operating according to the second mode. Furthermore, the device is configured to, in said second mode of operation, reproduce the first audio signal processed according to at least one first signal reproduction parameter. The sound reproducing device is further configured to scan for presence of a device already operating according to the first mode of operation, and selecting mode of operation based on the scan for presence of a device already operating according to the first mode of operation.
