Abstract: A mounting bracket assembly for adjustably mounting an object to a support surface. The bracket assembly includes a first mounting member removably attached to a support surface. A locking device is supported by the first mounting member and defines a plurality of locked positions spaced apart along an arcuate path. A first arm is secured to the first mounting member and supports a second arm which is movable substantially along the arcuate path for releasable engagement with the locking device at a selected one of the locked positions. A pivot connector interconnects the first arm and the second arm and facilitates selected angular positioning of the second arm relative to the first mounting member.

Abstract: A wall covering system including a pleated material, and the method of producing and installing the plated material. The pleated material includes a plurality of permanently fixed pleats extending in substantially parallel vertical relation to each other. Each pleat includes first and second pleat panels having first ends fixed by a securing line and opposing second ends defining an apex. The apex extends outwardly away from the wall as each pleat converges toward a center line extending between upper and lower portions of each pleat. The method of producing the pleated material includes passing a planar material successively through a pleating die and a securing device to initially form a plurality of pleats simultaneously and thereafter secure the plurality of pleats simultaneously.

Abstract: A multidirectional sound absorber which is adapted to be mounted on an exterior surface of a wall and includes a substantially flat base made of a relatively low density, sound absorbing material, and an outer layer made of a relatively high density, sound absorbing material attached to the base and shaped to form a plurality of channels which, together with the base, form enclosed hollow chambers. A substantially flexible sheet of acoustically transparent material covers the outer face of the outer layer, and upper and lower track members which enclose the ends of the base and outer layer and are adapted to attach the assembly to an exterior surface of a wall. The base and outer layer preferably are made of fiber glass insulation material. Also in a preferred embodiment, a woven mat of fiber glass material is attached to the outer face of the outer layer, and the sheet is attached to the mat.

Abstract: A bracket structure for use in hanging and pleating decorative wall fabrics, providing an elongated flat sheet metal backing strip with a plurality of generally U-shaped cross section extensions formed at uniformly spaced intervals along the length of the strip, a plurality of tabs formed in the strip both in the intermediate flat sections and in the curved portion of the U-shaped extensions for engaging and securing fabric with the outer end portions of the tab having a reversed bend which locks the fabric in position, and a rigid facia strip having the same configuration as the sheet metal backing strip and secured thereto with the fabric between the backing and the facia strips to provide protection for the connection of the fabric to the bracket.
