Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for optimizing a greenhouse environment. The method comprises determining environmental targets for the greenhouse environment, and determining environmental actions based on the determined environmental targets. The determination of the environmental targets comprises receiving plant status data indicative of observable characteristics of plant(s), receiving long-term constraint(s) indicative of long-term predictions of a first set of external circumstances, and determining environmental targets, based on the plant status data and the long-term constraint(s).
