Abstract: A tablet storage and charging cart includes a mobile cabinet formed of a horizontal base frame, two opposing upright frames and one or a number of horizontal partition panels and defining therein a plurality of storage compartments, a plurality of tablet racks set in the storage compartments for holding tablet PCs individually, and a transmission control system, which includes a power management device electrically connectable to an external power source for power input and one or a number of connector modules electrically coupled with the power management device, each connector module having multiple USB sockets and multiple transmission cables respectively electrically connected to the USB sockets and adapted for electrically connecting the USB sockets to storage tablet PCs.

Abstract: A USB charging circuit includes a mating hub module including a USB input port for the connection of an external computer and a USB main hub control circuit electrically connected to the USB input port, a power supply module including a power supply device and a synchronization/charge mode switching circuit for detecting the power signal output of the USB input port and outputting a corresponding mode judgment signal, and one or multiple output control units each including a USB charging control circuit electrically connected to the USB main hub control circuit, the power supply device and the synchronization/charge mode switching circuit to receive the outputted data signal, power supply and mode judgment signal and a USB output port for receiving the outputted data signal and power supply from the USB charging control circuit so that connected portable electronic devices can be charged or receive data synchronously.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for water purification and desalination. The systems have a preheater, a degasser, multiple evaporation chambers with demisters, heat pipes, and a control system, wherein the control system permits continuous operation of the purification and desalination system without requiring user intervention or cleaning. The system is capable of recovering heat from each distillation stage, while removing, from a contaminated water sample, a plurality of contaminant types including: microbiological contaminants, radiological contaminants, metals, salts, volatile organics, and non-volatile organics.

Abstract: A power converter plug mountable mobile electronic device holder includes a hollow holder base that defines a mating chamber for receiving a power converter plug of a power converter cable to be connected to an electric wall outlet in a wall, a top bearing surface at a top side thereof and adapted to bear a mobile electronic device being electrically charged by the power converter cable, and stop members suspending above the elevation of the bearing surface and adapted to support the mobile electronic device on the bearing surface. Abstract: A cooler pad for supporting a notebook computer on a user's lap is disclosed to include a soft pad having an accommodation space, a cooling fan mounted in the accommodation space, two slotted cover plates attached to the top and bottom sides of the accommodation space and fastened together to hold down the cooling fan in the accommodation space for enabling the power cord of the cooling fan to be extended to the outside of the soft pad for connection to the notebook computer to obtain the necessary working voltage for the cooling fan during operation of the notebook computer.

Abstract: A shock tool is adapted to a bottom hole tool assembly for isolating a zone in a subterranean formation accessed by a wellbore. Fracturing fluid such as nitrogen is accumulated at fracturing pressures uphole of the shock tool for subsequent and rapid release to the formation. Coal bed methane seams are particularly well suited to such a shock fracturing methodology. The tool assembly can be suspended from a conveyance string in which fluid is accumulated for shock release through a valve of the shock tool and through an injection tool to the zone isolated by the injection tool. After a first zone is shocked, the tool assembly can be moved to a new zone, or multiple shocks can be applied cyclically at the selected zone.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for enhancing the coverage and capabilities of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) using signal emitters. The signal emitters generate and emit GNSS Radio Frequency (RF) signals that may possess varying sets of information. In some situations, the information may include relative pseudo-random code phases and Doppler frequencies that correspond to the known location of the signal emitter or other locations. In some situations, the GNSS satellite constellation time, and the GNSS satellites that may be visible at a known location were the authentic GNSS signals not obscured or at another location.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for monitoring and possibly controlling radio frequency power levels within GNSS signal distribution networks. With respect to GNSS signal distribution networks that re-radiate the GNSS signal, limiting GNSS signals to an intended area is described.

Abstract: A well servicing rig for communicating with a fluid source and an effluent reservoir (such as a flow back tank) has an apparatus for holding and dispensing coiled tubing. A manifold assembly is advantageously located on the rig for routing the pressurized fluid (such as nitrogen gas mixed with proppant) from the fluid source between the coiled tubing apparatus, the well and the effluent reservoir. The manifold assembly controls the flow of the fluid to perform fracturing operations, for reverse fluid circulation, for a common coiled tubing operation, for pressure testing, and the like. The assembly includes remotely controlled valves and pressure transducers for controlling the fluid flow, and chokes for diffusing fluid energy prior to entering the effluent reservoir. The rig, fluid source, effluent reservoir and a fluid pumper provide a novel method of servicing an underground formation (such as a coal bed) for natural gas.

Abstract: A high-pressure injection proppant system for stimulating coal bed methane production preloads proppant, such as sand, into one or more high-pressure vessels, for delivery into a fluid stream, such a N2 gas stream. A screw auger arrangement meters the proppant volumes and rates into the fluid stream. Two such vessels operationally mounted in parallel can function separately or concurrently depending on the demand for proppant in a particular formation. The system provides for the injection of surfactants into the fluid stream to enhance the performance of the proppant, to aid in the placement of the proppant into a fracture network, and to demote proppant flowback during production and embedment. The system can be operated manually or by computer automation to aid in the accuracy of the mixing of the fluid stream components.
