Abstract: A hinge apparatus for furniture and cabinets which is not visible when the door is closed and which includes linkages associated with a control slot for causing the door to follow a definite rationally chosen path during the opening and closing motion of the door as well as the positioning of the door in a desired location relative to the fixed structure with which it is associated.
