Abstract: An orthopedic bracing system for providing support to a joint of an individual is provided. The bracing system includes a frame configured to conform to the individual's body and configured to contact the individual such that it can provide support to the joint. The frame has at least two portions configured to connect at least a first part of the individual's body to a second part of the individual's body. The bracing system further includes a cable interconnected to the frame, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the tightness level of the cable.
