  • Patent number: 4968092
Abstract: A high chair tray latch mechanism comprising a housing secured to the underside of a high chair tray with movable latches on the opposed side of said housing for engaging apertures in the arms of the chair. A bell crank is rotatably mounted centrally within the housing between the movable latches. First and second rigid rods are pivotally attached at one end to opposite arms of the bell crank and the first and second arms are pivotally attached at their other ends to their respective latches. The crank includes a spring which rotatably biases the crank in a direction to engage the latches with the holes in the arms of the chair. A cable is connected between the crank an a lever located on the underside of the forward part of the tray. Manual squeezing of the lever relative to the tray foreshortens the cable so as to rotate the crank.

  • Patent number: 4925193
Abstract: An aerodynamically symmetrical golf ball is provided including a patterned outer surface having 492 dimples arranged in twenty triangles based upon an inscribed modified icosahedron lattice on the surface of the ball. As a result of the modification of the lattice, a predetermined spacing exists between two in-line rows of dimples on opposite sides of an equatorial line about said ball, the spacing being created by the modification of th icosahedron on the surface of the ball.

  • Patent number: 4892517
Abstract: An improved breast pump comprised of a manifold having a cavity and plurality of openings. A horn is positioned in one of the openings for coupling the mother's breast with the cavity. A first fixed cylinder is formed integrally with a second opening of the manifold with a second cylinder slidingly received over the first cylinder for effecting a pumping action therebetween to create a reduced pressure within the horn, cavity and cylinders. A third opening is for the coupling of a baby bottle therewith. A ball valve is located within the third opening whereby when the second cylinder is reciprocated with respect to the first cylinder and a vacuum created in the horn, cavity and cylinders, the ball valve will seal the third opening and the bottle from the cavity and suck milk from a mother's breast located in association with the horn.

  • Patent number: 4884814
Abstract: The subject invention relates to golf ball technology, and more particularly, golf ball cover technology. The invention is concerned with a particular mixture of ionic resins as a golf ball cover composition.Ionomers have been widely used as golf ball cover materials for the past 15 years. While these ionomers are very durable, they have a deficiency as a golf ball cover material in that they tend to be hard. This invention is concerned with a mixture of a hard ionomer with a soft ionomer in order to produce a golf ball cover composition wherein the cover is softer than the prior art ionomer covers.A golf ball covered in accordance with this invention is durable and a skilled golfer can impart back spin to the ball in play.
