Abstract: The invention relates to a device for administering a liquid drop by drop, in particular an ophthalmic liquid. This administering device comprises a packaging filled with the liquid and an outflow channel for connecting to the packaging and comprising a perforation member at one end, which perforation member is received in a frame for mounting on the packaging. The invention further relates to an assembly of such an administering device and an outer packaging which comprises one or more receiving spaces for the administering device. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a frame for such an administering device. The invention also relates to a method for forming an administering device. The invention finally relates to a method for administering a liquid drop by drop.

Abstract: A method for manufacture and filling with a sterile liquid of a tubular packaging includes: providing a container with liquid therein, providing a tube, filling the tube with the liquid from the container, dividing the tube into tubular segments by successive welding operations, and separating the tubular segments at the welded seams. After each welding operation the tube is displaced over a distance corresponding to a desired length of the tubular segments, or multiple thereof. During each welding operation pressure can be exerted locally on and energy can be supplied to the tube. Exertion of pressure and the supply of energy can be staggered in time. During each welding operation a temperature at the welded seam can be kept constant. During each welding operation a welding parameter can be measured, and the welding operation can be controlled on the basis of the measured value of the welding parameter.

This administering device comprises a packaging filled with the liquid, an outflow channel with an administering opening, and means connected to the outflow channel for opening the packaging, wherein the opening means and the packaging are movable relative to each other. The device can have means for receiving the packaging, which receiving means can be adapted to fix the packaging, wherein the opening means are then movable relative to the receiving means. The opening means can conversely also be fixed relative to the receiving means, wherein the packaging is then movable in the receiving means. The opening means can be formed by a sharp outer end of the outflow channel.
