Abstract: A wafer prober includes a support structure defining a first upper guide and a first lower guide parallel to a first horizontal axis and vertically overlapping with each other, measuring units that each include a first carriage sliding along a first guide, a second guide carried by the first carriage and parallel to a second horizontal axis orthogonal to the first axis, a second carriage sliding along the second guide, and a movable terminal assembly carried by the second carriage, and a measuring head carried by the movable terminal assembly and provided with needle contacts that interact with points of the wafer. The movable terminal assembly is configured to move the measuring head according to a linear degree of freedom along a vertical axis and at least one rotational degree of freedom about the vertical axis. The wafer prober includes a control unit that controls the measuring units independently.
Abstract: Machine with flying probes for testing electronic boards comprising a conveyor for loading/unloading the boards into/from the testing station, a plurality of flying probes suitable to interact with predetermined points of each board and a plurality of contacting devices arranged at the sides of the working volume of the flying probes and suitable to cooperate with contact areas arranged on one edge of the board.
Abstract: A device for positioning an electronic test head with respect to a manipulator for manipulating electronic components, in particular integrated circuits, includes a supporting structure fitted to a base, a frame to which the electronic head is connectable, and an actuating assembly for moving the frame with respect to the supporting structure; the base has a number of shoes, e.g. compressed-air shoes, cooperating with a supporting surface; when idle, the base rests on the supporting surface by means of the shoes; when compressed air is supplied to the shoes, the shoes are raised vertically by a few microns with respect to the supporting surface; in which condition, the device is supported hydrostatically and substantially weightlessly with respect to the supporting surface, and the whole device can easily be moved manually by the operator in any direction parallel to the supporting surface.
Abstract: Process for making a modular, underwater, connection of water stretches, wherein the prefabricated modules from different manufacturing yards, freely floating in the water area in front of a floodable basin, are introduced, one at a time, into the basin, through an upper door and, after the basin is emptied, are laid on support saddles. The modules are then aligned and connected with the end of an already installed length, and, after flooding the basin again, are launched by being butt-pushed by means of a driving system, guided by means of thrust roller units.
