Abstract: A system and method for supporting speech language pathology practices that utilizes a patient smart device for recording patient exercises at an arbitrary location of the patient for generating patient exercise data. The patient exercise data with accompanying meta data is transmitted to a central server for processing and storage. The processing, which can include the use of artificial intelligence and learning applications, generates one or more assessments of patient progress and other status information that is transmitted to a smart device of a medical provider for review by the medical provider and for updating the patient therapy, if necessary.
