Abstract: A door with adjustable lock connection hardware is provided. The lock connection hardware is movable to allow desired positioning of lock hardware without the need for drilling extra holes or other laborious action.

Abstract: Various examples are provided for dynamic simulation of wind velocity and pressure. In one embodiment, among others, a dynamic wind simulator includes a fan and a fast-acting damper connected to an inlet of the fan. The fast-acting damper configured to modulate airflow provided by the fan at frequencies up to 10 Hz. In another embodiment, a system includes a fan and an air outlet path of the fan connected to a testing assembly configured to support a specimen for testing. An air inlet path of the fan includes a fast-acting damper configured to modulate airflow provided by the fan to the testing assembly at frequencies up to 10 Hz. The testing assembly may include a pressure chamber and/or a test section.

Abstract: A frame for a window or a door, or both, is provided. The frame includes at least two metal frame members which are separated. A thermal strut engages both frame members, creating a thermal barrier between the frame members and acting as a structural component of the frame.

Abstract: A hinge device for a door is provided. The hinge device has two hinge members which engage with each other and a hinge cap. A bearing with one or more tapered ends engages with the hinge members to allow easy opening and closing of a door attached to the hinge device.

Abstract: An adjustable door sweep with an upper frame, a lower carrier, and at least one brush is provided. The adjustable door sweep includes diagonally oriented slots in the walls of the upper frame and the lower carrier with attached rotatable rods to assist in vertical adjustment of the extensions, such as brushes. The method of using such an adjustable door sweep is also provided.

Abstract: A mullion arrangement for mounting within a door frame including a top fitting secured to an upper frame member or header of the door frame, a bottom fitting secured to the floor beneath the top fitting, and a mullion removably positioned between the top and bottom fittings. The mullion defines therein a cavity which carries cabling therein for supplying power to a component associated with the entryway, such as an electric strike for regulating opening of the door.

Abstract: A flush mount door handle recessed within a door frame. The door handle is set in a box type configuration. The door handle has a bottom support member that extends at an obtuse angle from the back wall and a pull member that does not come in contact the bottom support member. This type of flush mount door handle is designed to permit runoff of liquids, loose dirt, and grime and allow easier cleaning of the entire door handle.
