    Abstract: A bicycle assembly comprises a saddle adjustment assembly, the saddle adjustment assembly comprising: a saddle post configured to attach to a bicycle frame; an actuating member slidably coupled with the saddle post such that the actuating member can translate, in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the saddle post, between at least first and second predetermined positions, the actuating member comprising a saddle angle locking device that selectively locks the actuating member in the first and second predetermined positions; and a saddle support arm configured to couple to a bicycle saddle, the saddle support arm rotatably coupled to the saddle post and the actuating member such that translation of the actuating member with respect to the saddle post causes the saddle support arm to rotate with respect to the saddle post.

    Abstract: A bicycle comprises front and rear wheels, a frame supported on the front and rear wheels and including a frame mount, and a battery including a battery mount engaged with the frame mount. One of the battery mount and the frame mount includes a depression and the other of the battery mount and the frame mount includes a boss positioned in the depression. Preferably, depression comprises a slot, and the slot can include a resilient material to securely hold the boss. The boss can comprise an eccentric boss. Preferably, the battery mount is positioned adjacent one end of the battery, and an opposite end of the battery includes an opening. In this embodiment, the bicycle further comprises a mounting pin positioned through the opening and through a portion of the frame to secure the opposite end of the battery to the frame.

    Abstract: A bicycle comprises a main frame and a suspension assembly coupled to the main frame. The suspension assembly includes a dynamic crank support and a spring mechanism. The dynamic crank support is movable from an uncompressed position to a compressed position. The spring mechanism biases the dynamic crank support toward the uncompressed position. The suspension assembly further comprises a dynamic seat support coupled for movement with the dynamic crank support. For example, the dynamic seat support and the dynamic crank support can be rigidly coupled to each other and cooperatively form one bar of a four-bar linkage. An eccentric assembly is supported by the main frame and rotates about a first axis. The eccentric assembly pivotally supports the dynamic crank support for rotation about a second axis offset from the first axis. The spring mechanism preferably comprises a spring secured between the main frame and the eccentric assembly to rotationally bias the eccentric assembly.

    Abstract: A bicycle having a rear wheel including an axle, a hub shell, a torque element including a torque output portion and a torque input portion, and a rear cog coupled to the torque input portion. The torque output portion is a first radial distance from the torque input portion. The position sensor measures a rotational position of the torque input portion relative to the torque output portion. In one embodiment, the position sensor includes a displacement indicator (e.g., a radial tab mounted to the torque output portion) and a displacement sensor (e.g., an inductive sensor mounted to the torque input portion). The inductive sensor preferably has two sensing coils positioned on each side of the displacement indicator. The hub assembly can further comprise a wireless transmitter adapted to transmit data from the position sensor. The hub shell preferably includes a window that facilitates data transmission from the wireless transmitter.

    Abstract: A helmet comprises an impact-absorbing shell, a band secured to the shell, and a resilient member. The band is secured to the shell at two securing locations such that an intermediate portion of the band between the two securing locations is in spaced relation to the shell. The resilient member is operatively positioned between the securing location and the impact-absorbing shell to facilitate resilient movement of the band relative to the impact-absorbing shell. The band comprises a brow assembly positioned at a front of the impact-absorbing shell and including a brow belt. The brow belt comprises a belt opening, and the resilient member is positioned in the belt opening. A portion of the belt defining the belt opening can be positioned in a groove in the resilient member. A fastener inserted through a fastener opening in the resilient member to secure the resilient member to the impact-absorbing shell.

Preferably, a lower surface of the central portion is substantially unsupported to form a trampoline-like structure. The upper surface of the central portion can include memory foam and is substantially flush with upper surfaces of the side portions.

In one embodiment, the tube includes spaced-apart first and second walls, with the tube hole through the first wall and a threaded hole through the second wall and aligned with the tube hole. Preferably, the battery mounting pin includes a threaded end, and the battery mounting pin is positioned through the tube hole and through the battery hole with the threaded end threaded into the threaded hole. The invention is also embodied in a method of mounting a battery to an ebike including the steps of aligning the battery hole with the tube hole and inserting a battery mounting pin through the tube hole and completely through the battery hole.

The valve member has a ledge engaging the outer edge and a cleat engaging the inner edge. The valve member can further include an integral gasket positioned between the ledge and the cleat and deformed in engagement with the wall. The cleat preferably includes a beveled surface. The valve member can be inserted from the outside of the housing and without the need for additional retention members. Specifically, the valve member is secured to the housing by contacting the cleat with the outer edge of the wall, moving the valve member toward the housing such that the cleat passes through the opening, and engaging the cleat with the inner edge of the wall.
