Abstract: A Microprocessor controlled timer particularly adapted for control of an animal feeder with a display of program items and with user settable feeding times and duration of such feeding times based upon the microprocessor calculated sunrise and sunset times with a selector switch and a change switch and display of program items allowing user reprogramming of the timer; the timer being broadly usable for activation of electrical equipment when desirable activation is at times relative to sunrise and sunset and also being usable for activation of electrical equipment according to normal clock time.

Abstract: A trim detail system with trim detail has an exterior surface with a contour for attachment to a structure. The trim detail includes a base material, such as foam, having an exterior surface with a contour generally matching the contour of the trim detail. A first layer of material, such as foam-coat, overlays the exterior surface of the base material that is harder than the base material. A second layer of material, such as a gypsum-based "drywall" material, overlays the first layer of material that is softer than the first layer of material.
Abstract: A calibration method for a volumetric metering and blending device which involves the use of a memory base to calculate and control the speed in which an auger dispenses each quantity of ingredient into a hopper. The method involves operatively connecting the memory base to each of a plurality of ingredient hoppers which include feed dispensing augers, with each ingredient hopper being in flow communication with a central weighing hopper. To pre-calibrate the desired speed for each auger necessary to dispense a premeasured quantity of feed into the central hopper, a premeasured quantity of feed is dispensed from each ingedient hopper into the central hopper with the number of turns of the auger being recorded in the memory base. This value is then converted into a revolutions per minute figure for each auger, and by regulating the speed of the feed dispensing augers, the correct ratio of ingredients is dispensed from each ingredient hopper into the central hopper for producing a feed mix.
Abstract: An advanced turbo compound engine of internal combustion type having conventional reciprocally movable pistons, cylinders, manifolds, fuel-oxygen admixing apparatus or fuel injection, firing apparatus or compression ignition, and incorporating the improvement of respective nozzle means for conveying the hot, moderately high pressure combustion products (exhaust gases) from the respective cylinders to one or more turbines, the nozzle means having its inlet and discharge ends connected, respectively, with the respective boundary walls of respective combustion chambers or cylinders and with the inlet to a turbine. The turbine may have its shaft connected with a compressor for compressing at least air for intake to the engine and/or for connecting with the output shaft of the engine for assisting in delivering power that is used as desired, or connected to other auxiliary power needs.
