At least the pressure roll coming into contact with the toner image has a coarse surface having a surface coarseness of over 1.9 .mu.m (Ra). A cleaning felt member may be provided which is adapted to come into contact with the pressure roll not coming into contact with the toner image, and a heat generating member may be arranged around the pressure roll coming into contact with the toner image, to thereby heat the pressure roll to a temperature below 80.degree.
