The cover is slid on the base along the sliding tracks with a slider in between. The slider comprises an elastic member and two ends abutting against the two opposing sliding tracks. Sliding the cover, it can be automatically moved to a predestined end position for opening or closing.

    Abstract: The present invention is a mobile device having an improved roller feel, comprising a hollow metal cylinder, a support and a plurality of terminals disposed firmly on the support. The hollow metal cylinder comprises a plurality of interference areas at an end of the hollow metal cylinder. The support comprises two braces. The terminals comprises a plurality of spring contacts, where the terminals are in contact with the inner surface of the hollow metal cylinder and at least one of the spring contacts stretches into the hollow metal cylinder in a depth not exceeding the scope of the interference areas. When rolling the hollow metal cylinder, the present invention makes the spring contacts create explicit and regular stress variations to produce a sense of feel. The interactions between the hollow metal cylinder and the spring contacts are enhanced and the sense of feel is more obvious; and the effect of durability is improved.

    Abstract: Present invention relates to a roller construction with a sense of feel for a mobile navigation device; more particularly, relates to a construction for a mobile navigation device to produce a sense of feel when rolling the roller. Present invention comprises a conductive ring, a plurality of terminals and a support. The conductive ring is a hollow ring of conductive metal and the outer surface can be covered with insulating material. Each of the terminals comprises a contactor and the terminals are connected with the default circuit. Each of the contactor is plugged into the conductive ring to be electrically connected with it. The support comprises two braces, wherein each comprises a cantilever plugged in from each end of the conductive ring to support it. On rolling the conductive ring, regular interferences are made between the terminals and the conductive ring, or between the conductive ring and the cantilever, to produce a sense of feel.

The audio jack connector includes an insulating housing, a set of switch terminals, an insulating wrap and a plurality of signal terminals. The insulating housing includes an inserting hole and a chamber. The inserting hole is linked to the chamber. The set of switch terminals includes a first terminal and a second terminal disposed on the corresponding sidewall of the chamber. The second terminal has a contacting part and the insulating wrap covers a portion of the contacting part. The signal terminals are also disposed on the sidewall of the chamber. When the plug is inserted into the chamber, a portion of the contacting part uncovered by the insulating wrap is electrically connected to the first terminal while the portion of the contacting part covered by the insulating wrap is electrically insulated from the plug.

By the simple structure of the present invention, the conductive ring interacts with the terminals, wherein the first rolling direction can be differed from the second rolling direction by signals sent with time differential.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method for a keypad is provided. First, a patterned thin plastic sheet, which includes a first surface and a second surface, is provided. A plurality of touch buttons which can be operated independently are included. The touch buttons have a plurality of hollow patterned structures on them. Later, a metal layer is formed on the first surface of the patterned thin plastic sheet and on the sidewalls of the hollow patterned structures. Thereafter, an adhesion enhancing layer is added onto to the second surface of the patterned thin plastic sheet. Later, a colored layer is formed on the adhesion enhancing layer. Finally, a protruding point layer is formed on the adhesion enhancing layer, and is covering the colored layer. The protruding point layer has a plurality of protruding points with positions corresponding to the touch buttons respectively.

    Abstract: An LGA connector is used to interconnect an LGA package and a printed circuit board. The LGA connector includes an elastomeric body with a plurality of through-holes. Metal films are formed on inner walls of through-holes and splay out around the mouths of their upper and lower openings. The metal films are formed by vacuum metallization, sputtering, chemical plating, electrical plating or PVD. The through-holes have a funnel-like shape to absorb external stresses and redirect the stress to shrink the through-hole diameters. Moreover, the metal films' elastic deformation is larger than conventional metal conductive fillers so as to improve reliability.
