    Abstract: Disclosed is a dental glass-ionomer cement composition, which includes polycarboxylic acid, water, and a glass powder including a metal component that is able to form an ionic bond with a carboxyl group of polycarboxylic acid in the presence of water and having a polymer material that is applied on at least a portion of the surface of the glass powder. The dental glass-ionomer cement composition can guarantee sufficient working time and can exhibit increased initial strength.
