Abstract: In an aspect, a toy assembly is provided, and includes a housing, an inner object (which may, in some embodiments, be a toy character) inside the housing, a tether, and a breakout motor. The tether connects the inner object to the housing. The breakout motor is operatively connected to a portion of the inner object to drive the inner object to carry out movement inside the housing. The movement of the inner object inside the housing drives the tether to open a hole in the housing.
Abstract: An articulating object is provided, including first and second body portions, a first cable segment and a cable drive system. The second body portion has a neutral axis and is articulatable. The first cable segment is of a push-pull cable type and extends along the second body portion on a first side of the neutral axis. The cable drive system can move the first cable segment in a first direction so as to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a first moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a first articulation direction. The cable drive system can move the first cable segment in a second direction for the first cable segment so as to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a second moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a second articulation direction.
Abstract: In an aspect, a method of projecting an image using an electronic device having a front face with a display screen, a rear face, and an edge, and further including an LED on a rear face, a processor and memory, and having an application stored in the memory, the method comprising: providing a projector having an aperture therethrough, and a clip including a first arm which has an arm marker, and a second arm; executing the application so as to display a screen marker in a position based on a make and model of the electronic device; and positioning the clip on the electronic device with the first arm on the front face with the arm marker aligned with the screen marker, positioning the projector's aperture aligned with the LED to pass light through a slide containing an image, to project the image.

Abstract: A system for making a craft comprises a core and a sleeve. The core includes a molding portion. The sleeve has an exterior surface and defines an interior space. The sleeve comprises a collapsible portion that is collapsible towards the interior space. The sleeve is configured to cover the molding portion such that the molding portion of the core prevents collapsing of the collapsible portion interiorly. The core is configured to be releasable from the sleeve and when there is a layer of dried molding material on the exterior surface, the collapsible portion of the sleeve is articulable interiorly away from the layer of dried molding material to at least partially collapse the sleeve for removal from the layer of dried molding material.
Abstract: An article ejection structure is disclosed, having a housing, and a first biasing member positioned in the housing and having a first biasing force biasing the first biasing member toward a first neutral position to drive a rupture structure to rupture the housing. A release member restricts the first biasing member from moving toward the first neutral position when the release member is in a lock state, and is conditionable to a release state, in which the release member at least partially releases the first biasing member to move toward the first neutral position and drive the ejection structure to rupture the housing. A second biasing member positioned in the housing, the second biasing member having a second biasing force biasing the second biasing member toward a second neutral position to drive an article positioned in the housing out of the housing when the housing is ruptured.

Abstract: In an aspect, a character figure is provided, and includes a body, a hair holder and a clump of hair. The hair holder is mounted to the body and encloses an interior volume therewith. The hair holder at least in part defines hair pass-through apertures including at least first and second hair pass-through apertures. The clump of hair has a central region with a knot that is positioned in the interior volume. The clump of hair further includes a first and second end portions extending from the central region. The first end portion passes through the first hair pass-through aperture to an exterior of the character figure. Abstract: In a first aspect, a construction toy element is provided and includes a body and a first circumferential row of arms extending from the body. The body has an axis, and has a first axial end and a second axial end. A first circumferential row of arms extends from the body. Each arm includes a root end and a free end, and has a first connecting member thereon that is configured for connecting the construction toy element to another construction toy element. The root end projects from the body in a direction that is angled towards one of the first and second axial ends relative to a normal direction to a surface of the body.

Abstract: In an aspect, a kit of parts is provided for assembling at least a portion of a character figure. The kit includes first and second kit member each having a body having a representation of a body portion of the character figure thereon. The first kit member has a hook extending outwardly from the body, and the second kit member body has a first hook-receiving aperture which has an interior surface that frictionally engages the exterior surface of the first hook, and is free of any bight pass-through members that engage the bight of the first hook to prevent removal of the first kit member from the second kit member. The kit members are joinable together to form at least a portion of a character figure. The bight of the first hook permits the first kit member to be hung on a first storage bar.
