    Abstract: An input unit disposed between a mouse and a computer, the mouse being adapted to output a predetermined count number of pulse signals according to an amount of movement of the mouse. This output unit includes a count number converting device for gradually varying the count number of pulse signals outputted from the mouse and for outputting the varied count number to the computer. Preferably the count number converting device should be built in the mouse.
