    Abstract: A process for removal of TOC from industrial aqueous waste streams which have TOC of 350000 mg/I or less and various pH, wherein the process comprises a plurality of successive steps comprising in each step electromagnetic irradiation in the region 200 nm-600 nm at a temperature of less than 70° C. for photo oxidation of the waste streams using an added oxidant.
