    Abstract: The invention regards a method for manufacturing a personal protection device for protecting a part of a body of a user. The device is manufactured by providing an image of the shape of the body part to be protected, based on the image of the body part, milling out a model of the body part, providing at least one blank with a curved inner surface, the surface form being adapted to the outer surface of the model, and cutting and/or finishing the edge of the blank(s) to obtain the desired shape.
