The replacement bookmarks are associated with the data class types and are overwritten or otherwise are substituted for the original bookmarks. The replacement bookmarks then are subjected to a fingerprint matching algorithm that incorporates media timeline and media related metadata.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards computer-based systems and methods for evaluating a user's body motion based on motion data obtained via a series of wireless sensors attached to a user's body. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method is disclosed herein. A server system receives motion data from one or more input devices. The motion data corresponds to movement of a user. The server system generates a motion profile based on at least the motion data received from the one or more input devices. The server system retrieves a pre-defined target motion profile from a database structure. The server system objectively evaluating the extracted motion profile by comparing one or more parameters of the generated motion profile with one or more parameters of the retrieved pre-defined target motion profile.

Abstract: A system for determining information associated a bat includes a bat having a handle, a barrel extending from the handle, and a cap connected to the barrel opposite the handle. The cap is connected to a first portion of a chip, and a second portion of the chip is connected to a portion of the bat other than the cap. A user device communicates with the chip on a network to receive the information associated with the bat or to receive second information used to obtain the information associated with the bat. The information associated with the bat may be whether the cap has been removed, which may identify whether the bat has been modified.

Abstract: A bat composed of composite materials is disclosed. Multiple layers of composite material is wound, weaved or interlaced around a mandrel to create a tubular structure composed of composite material. The tubular structure is cured and the mandrel is removed, leaving a hollow tubular structure. A composite material insert is inserted to the tip of the tubular structure, to seal the tubular structure. The knob portion of the structure is likewise sealed. The tubular structure is wrapped with fibrous material, such that the fibrous material encompasses the knob, body and tip of the structure. The resulting structure is a bat wherein the knob of the bat transitions to the barrel of the bat and the barrel of the bat transitions seamlessly to the tip of the bat, to create a continuous composite structure. This solid structure is then injection molded, with a solid bat tip and knob in place.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for an inter-sport fantasy sports challenge. According to one aspect, a set of players is provided to each user, where each player competes in one of a plurality of sports. A roster selected from the set of players is received from each user. Rosters include players selected without regard to a respective sport and a respective position, and can include players from multiple sports. In another aspect, rosters include prescribed numbers of players and positions, and the respective rosters as between at least two users include players from multiple sports. Performance data for each player is received. A player point value for each player is calculated and converted into normalized values using one or more piecewise-defined non-linear functions for each sport. A roster score is calculated by aggregating normalized values for each player on the roster, and users are ranked based on roster scores.
