Abstract: A lens mounting structure including a lens holder forming a part of a casing of a scanner, and a lens mounted in the lens holder, the lens holder having a receiving hole which receives the lens, two springy strips cut from the periphery of the receiving hole, and a plurality of longitudinal ribs raised from the springy strips and the periphery of the receiving hole and respectively pressed at the periphery of the lens to hold down the lens in the receiving hole, a glue filling hole through which a glue is filled into the receiving hole to fix the lens.

Abstract: A lens assembly installation of scanner comprises a sliding base being movable inside the scanner horizontally and longitudinally on which is disposed a projection lamp, a light filtering lens assembly and a camera. Characterized in that the light filtering lens assembly includes a stepping motor, a support plate, a lens bracket and four pieces of lens, wherein the lens bracket shaped as a circular arc wherein four windows are disposed one-by-one parallelly has a plurality of screw holes disposed at the top. An opening at the top rim of the window and a U-channel, to accommodate the lens, in the inner rim of the window are provided. The support plate is provided with a shaft hole by which it can be fixed onto the stepping motor shaft and several small holes and projected hold-down plate are provided at its outer rim corresponding respectively to the screw holes on the lens bracket and window which can be locked with the lens bracket to form an integrated unit.

Abstract: A lens assembly fixing device of scanner, wherein the scanner includes a body, a top cover, an upper surface plate and a scanning lens assembly. The scanning lens assembly is set inside the scanner and can move to and fro horiziontally and longitudinally therein. At a desired location of a side of the lens assembly is mounted a positioning board having a diamond-shaped opening thereon, and a socket and a spring bolt are installed on the upper surface plate and the top cover respectively, corresponding to the top of the diamond-shaped opening when the scanner is in standby mode. It prevents the lens assembly from being damaged by collision generated during its sliding randomly at removal, as a result from that the spring bolt inserts into the diamond-shaped opening on the positioning board through the socket on the upper surface plate when the scanner stops operation. The locking of the spring bolt will automatically be released, as soon as the top cover is opened in each use or operation.
