Abstract: There is disclosed a ball cup for a ball bearing with a shaft and with a hollow space for the reception of a ball head accessible by way of an entrance opening, in the case of which at a distance from the wall of the hollow space at least two slits are provided symmetrically in relation to the hollow space and essentially in longitudinal direction of the shaft in such a way that in the case of the introduction of the ball head through the introducing opening into the hollow space, the bridges located between the wall of the hollow space and the slits may be shifted to the outside in a radial direction based on the bridges narrowing the entrance opening and that they will again shift in a radial direction inward after introduction of the ball head into the hollow space.

Abstract: A plastic ball socket extruded in one piece for a ball-and-socket joint having a shaft 5 and a ball end 8, the axis of the joint in standard position being lateral to shaft 5. The ball socket is divided by slot 13 extending into the area of its shaft 5. A cover-shaped locking part 4 to hold legs 11, 12 of ball socket 1 together is provided in the region of the open end of slot 13, consisting of two side sections 18, 19 and yoke part 20 connecting the two side sections 18 and 19 with each other. The one side section 18 has a projection 17 fitting over lip 16 arranged on the one leg 12 when locking part 4 holds the two legs 11, 12 together. The free end of the other side section 19 is connected with the other leg 11 via an elastic area forming a hinge strip 26.

Abstract: A fastening element for detachably connecting two plate-like components is disclosed as including a headpiece having a projection that can be passed through an elliptical hole in the first component and locked therein by rotating the element in one direction, and a square shaft opposite the headpiece that can be locked within a square hole in the second component by rotating the element in the opposite direction.
