Publication number: 20250115000Abstract: A system and method for facilitating separation of 3D-printed objects from build platforms. The principle of separation in the present invention involves a build platform configured to be removable or flexible or partially deformable, such that at least a portion of the build platform may be bent or tilted to separate the build platform from the 3D-printed object once the 3D-printing is completed. In some embodiments, a base assembly is adapted to magnetically move a build plate along a surface of the base assembly such that the build plate automatically self-aligns along a boundary of the base assembly and magnetically couples to the base assembly. In some embodiments, a build platform includes a flexible layer with a printable surface and a rigid layer coupled to the flexible layer so that applying a force on the flexible layer deforms a localized portion of the printable surface without deforming the rigid layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2024Publication date: April 10, 2025Applicant: SprintRay, Inc.Inventors: Amir Mansouri, Aayush Patel, Anjali E. Patent number: 11998415Abstract: A custom bleaching tray or device with trench and material pocket/reservoir is disclosed. The device comprises a trench to avoid leakage of bleaching material onto the gingiva and a reservoir to precisely hold the bleaching material on the surface of the tooth. A method for forming a 3D-printed custom bleaching tray may include: providing or accessing teeth scan data associated with a patent's mouth; generating a digital model of the patient's mouth based on the teeth scan data, including manipulating the teeth scan data to form: a trench between one or more teeth and a gingiva region of the teeth scan data, and a bleaching material reservoir on a surface of each of the one or more teeth of the teeth scan data; and 3D-printing, based on the digital model, a 3D-printed bleaching tray. A thermoforming process may be applied to the 3D-printed bleaching tray.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2022Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: SprintRay, Inc.Inventors: Mark Lorich, Amir Gordgi

Patent number: 11890173Abstract: The invention is generally a nasal pharyngeal and oral swab that may be mass-produced via three-dimensional (3D) printing. To achieve the right materials for 3D printing the swabs, exemplary embodiments employ a set of materials that result in a rigid structure that has bendable properties (at least in the neck or stem region of the swab), but more rigid and bridle properties at a breakpoint of the swab. In exemplary embodiments, this may be achieved by constructing the device of a first photosensitive material that is generally soft and bendable when cured, and a second photosensitive material that is generally rigid and brittle when cured, wherein the soft bendable material comprises of about 70% to 90% of the photosensitive composition used to 3D print the swab, and the rigid and brittle material comprises of about 30% to 10% of the photosensitive composition used to 3D print the swab.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2022Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: SprintRay Inc.Inventors: Amir Mansouri, Hossein Bassir
