Patent number: 5661119Abstract: There is disclosed various terpene based cleansing formulations for skin. The cleaning formulations include the ingredients of water in which there is dispersed a terpene, nonionic surfactants, corn meal scrubber and preservatives including antimicrobial and antioxidant agents. In one aspect of the invention the skin cleansing formulations include orange terpenes as the solvent. The nonionic surfactants present in the formulation provide stabilization of the terpene/water mixture, do not soften or otherwise attack the corn meal, and provide detergency for suspending the lifted soil.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 1995Date of Patent: August 26, 1997Assignee: Sprintvest Corporation NVInventors: Leslie J. Patent number: 5556005Abstract: A dispenser comprises a collapsible bottle and a valve assembly for placement in the throat of the bottle which includes a first hollow valve member sealed in the throat of the bottle and a hollow second valve member having apertures in the side wall. The second valve member telescopes in the first valve member between a closed position in which the apertures are located within the channel of the first valve member to close the bottle and an open position in which the apertures are in flow communication with the interior of the bottle. The first and second valve members are dimensioned to receive a probe forming part of a dispenser pump mechanism. The bottle is provided with crease lines located on the front, back and sides so that the bottle collapses as liquid is pumped out of the bottle to prevent exposure of the liquid contents to air.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1995Date of Patent: September 17, 1996Assignee: Sprintvest Corporation NVInventor: Stewart Banks

Patent number: 5445288Abstract: There is disclosed a foaming device for dispensing foam. The device includes a collapsible liquid container and a foam pump attached to the container outlet. The foam pump includes two enclosures, the first being bonded in the throat of the container and the second being telescopingly received in the first. When assembled, the two enclosures define an air chamber and a fluid chamber each having outlets which merge by the foamer outlet. The fluid chamber accepts liquid from the container and when the second member is moved with respect to the first member the fluid chamber is pressurized to open an outlet valve and air is simultaneously expelled through the outlet. The liquid and air commingle as they pass through a wire, plastic or fabric mesh thereby forming the foam. There is included a dispenser housing for releasibly receiving the collapsible liquid container and foam pump.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 1994Date of Patent: August 29, 1995Assignee: Sprintvest Corporation NVInventor: Stewart Banks

Patent number: 5358152Abstract: The present invention provides a detergent doser for dispensing liquid doses from a liquid dispenser. The liquid dispenser has a nozzle through which the detergent is dispensed. The detergent doser includes a container having an outer wall and an inner wall defining therebetween a chamber. The doser is provided with a passageway extending through the container defined by the inner wall for receiving therein the nozzle. The inner wall includes an aperture and the doser is movable with respect to the nozzle between a closed position in which the nozzle outlet is closed off by a portion of the inner wall and an open position in which the nozzle outlet and aperture cooperate to provide a fluid flow path between the dispenser and chamber. In the closed position the detergent doser acts as a lid or cap for the dispenser.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 1993Date of Patent: October 25, 1994Assignee: Sprintvest Corporation NVInventor: Stewart Banks

Patent number: 5356038Abstract: A wall mountable cream tube dispenser for dispensing cream is disclosed. The dispenser includes a wall mount having a slot and a movable locking lever with a tongue, and includes a separate dispenser mechanism provided with a guide plate having a groove. The lever is elongated and has a proximal end attached to the wall mount and a distal end spaced therefrom. The tongue is positioned between the proximal end and the distal end of the lever. The wall mount is mounted on a wall or other supporting surface and the guide plate is inserted into the slot whereupon the tongue is received into the groove to form a tongue-in-groove connection. The tongue-in-groove connection is decoupled by pressing on the free end of the lever thereby deforming the lever and pulling the tongue from the groove. Various types of cream tubes may be attached to the dispenser mechanism, including toothpaste, hand and face creams, hair gel and the like.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 1993Date of Patent: October 18, 1994Assignee: Sprintvest Corporation N.V.Inventor: Stewart Banks
