Abstract: An aeroponic system having a longitudinal hollow cylindrical grow tube with through-holes in the upper surface of the shell of the grow tube for accommodating grow pots with a hollow shell having an upper part and a lower part. The lower part has a plurality of cut-outs and the upper part has a flange to be supported on the edge of a through-hole of the grow tube and is a curved flange with a underside complementary to the curved upper surface of the cylindrical grow tube. The aeroponic system becomes a closed system by connecting a pressure manifold to the grow tube at its head portion and has an internal distribution pipe with nozzles configured to mist the nutrient solution into the grow chamber, avoiding as such additional through-holes in the grow tubes.
