Abstract: A computer-based workstation for logical diagram generation from structured text written in any natural language is disclosed. With the invention, a user can quickly indicate the logical structure of a text in computer memory using a prescribed set of symbols, instruct the computer to generate a logical digram corresponding to the text, and finally to interactively view and edit the diagram. A user is therefore able to describe in both words and graphical images a procedure or set of instructions.
