  • Patent number: 9918501
Abstract: A facial cushion for a goggle may have a plurality of layers which provide cushioning, cooling and ergonomic fit functions. The top layer which contacts the wearer's face may have an embossed pattern which creates an air space between the wearer's face and the top layer for providing a cooling function. The embossed top layer also increases the total surface area of the top layer thereby increasing its wicking ability and reduces the total skin contact surface area of the top layer reducing heat. Additionally, the cushion may be thicker at left and right end portions to maintain contact with the wearer's face despite pulling of the left and right ends of the goggle when the goggle is worn with a helmet.

  • Patent number: 9895266
Abstract: A goggle having a lens changing system is disclosed that includes a sliding lever that is traversable between a closed and opened position. The sliding lever, in the opened position, allows the lens to be released from the frame so that the user can either switch out the lens to a different lens that would be more appropriate for the current lighting conditions or to replace the current lens which may be defective. Additionally, the lens changing system has a nub and hole combination that further secures the lens to the frame so that the lens does not inadvertently dislodge off of the frame during active sports.

  • Patent number: 9720255
Abstract: An apparatus and method for removably attaching a lens to a pair of goggles. The lens has at its periphery a plurality of lens clips, and the goggles has on its frame a matching plurality of frame clips which are designed to attach to the lens clips. Attachment and unattachment may be achieved through actuation of a lens release mechanism. The apparatus allows for the rapid and easy replacement of lenses without necessitating a replacement of the remaining portion of the goggles, a feature which may allow a user to cost-effectively replace damaged or worn lenses, or to utilize a single pair of goggles in a multitude of activities or situations in which advantages may be conferred through or necessity may require the use of a type or style of lens having particular attributes.
