Abstract: In a sprocket for a bicycle having a radial bearing acting as a bearing portion, an axial load acting on the bearing can be easily adjusted without having to dismount the components of the bicycle after the bicycle has been assembled; a spring washer is used as a component for an anti-rotation mechanism of an adjusting nut which serves to adjust the axial load of the radial bearing, so that an excessive load is not applied on the radial bearing to avoid a defective rotation, and the axial load acting on the radial bearing can be easily adjusted without having to dismount the components of the bicycle even after the bicycle has been assembled.
Abstract: In a sprocket for a bicycle having a radial bearing acting as a bearing portion, an axial load acting on the bearing can be easily adjusted without having to dismount the components of the bicycle after the bicycle has been assembled. An elastomer is used as a component for an anti-rotation mechanism of an adjusting nut which serves to adjust the axial load of the radial bearing, so that an excessive load is not applied on the radial bearing, which would result in a defective rotation. Further, the axial load acting on the radial bearing can be easily adjusted without having to dismount the components of the bicycle after the bicycle has been assembled.
Abstract: A wheel suspension type front fork can be assembled easily at a low cost. Closely wound portions at both ends of a coil spring 14 are engaged to an upper receiving member 13 fixedly mounted to a lower end of a supporting tube 12 and a lower receiving member 16 fixedly mounted to a lower portion of a sliding tube 15.
Abstract: A wheel suspension type front fork has a structure capable of being manufactured without a metal mold and cutting work. An inner tube 18 is disposed to a sliding tube 13 to form a dual-tube structure. A receiving plate 19 is supported by an upper end of the inner tube 18 and an axle receiver 25 of the sliding tube 13 is reinforced by a lower end of the inner tube 18.
