  • Patent number: 9830593
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a system of cryptographic currency user directory data and enhanced peer-verification ledger synthesis through multi-modal cryptographic key-address mapping. The method determines that a propagation packet is a transaction of a cryptographic currency and extracts both an IP address and an input key-address to determine that the input key-address is under a suspected control of a user of interest. The method also determines that a relayed key-address communicated between a user of interest and a correspondent is under the suspected control of the user of interest, and/or that and/or an exhibited key-address of a web content is under the suspected control of the user of interest. The suspected control may be added to an enhanced ledger data and/or a user directory data. The system implementing one or more of the methods includes a set of collections servers, a directory server, and a wide area network.

  • Patent number: 9350762
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system related to an intelligent feedback loop to iteratively reduce target packet analysis is disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method of a network traffic monitoring system includes processing a flow data received through an aggregation switch of a network traffic monitoring system in a first stage module of the network traffic monitoring system, filtering the flow data to a target data based on a packet classification in the first stage module, determining that a portion of a target data is an extraneous data based on a content filtering algorithm applied in a data processing system of the network traffic monitoring system, and iteratively removing from the target data the extraneous data based on a feedback loop created between the data processing system and the first stage module of the network traffic monitoring system.

  • Patent number: 9058323
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for collecting data streams, such as data packets, on a network, such as the Internet, are disclosed. Evaluation of the metadata and the relationships can be performed algorithmically, as predetermined by an analyst or as provided as preset options by the network monitoring system (NMS). The collected data associated with the users of the network may be accessed by multiple analysts belonging to different groups having a NMS of their own. The system may allow access to multiple analysts belonging to separate groups by parsing through a single instance of the stored data. Multiple analysts belonging to different groups may allow to access to a single instance of the stored data.

  • Patent number: 8938534
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for collecting data streams, such as data packets, on a network, such as the Internet, are disclosed. A metadata portion of at least one of the data streams is analyzed on the network and evaluated using a metadata processing engine to identify a relationship between at least two of the plurality of data streams, e.g., a relationship between multiple users of a network, regardless of whether the users are currently of interest or if they are not of interest. An interface manager can receive an information of a new user of interest, evaluate the new user of interest for redundancy against existing known users of interest of the NMS; then communicate the information of the new user of interest to at least one access device to collect data streams associated with the new user of interest.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for storing, retrieving, and managing data streams, such as data packets, on a network are disclosed. In one embodiment, a network monitoring system (NMS) includes an access device for retrieving data from a network, and a circular storage device coupled to the access device. The circular storage device is operative to retrieve a portion of a data stored in the circular storage device based on a query. The portion of the data retrieved is a broader subset of results of the query. A remote data processing device refines the portion of the data retrieved from the circular storage device based on the query. The circular storage device coupled to the access device may be further operative to overwrite the at least a portion of the data stream based on a set of criteria.

  • Patent number: 7272210
Abstract: The present invention is a voice organizer system having a message intake module, for storing a voice organizer message created by a first user, and a message delivery module. The message delivery module includes instructions for delivering the voice organizer message to a second user on a date specified by the first user, and periodically redelivering the voice organizer message at a frequency specified by the first user. The message delivery module may also include instructions for associating a passcode with the voice organizer message. The message delivery module may further include instructions for automatically calling the second user on the delivery date specified by the first user, and, if delivery of the voice organizer message fails, placing the voice organizer message in a voice mailbox associated with the second user.

  • Patent number: 7133500
Abstract: Method and apparatus for conducting surveillance in a SS7 Intelligent Network (IN) or Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) provides in the case of AIN that an Info Analyzed trigger is armed in an end office switch and notifies a delivery function when a call is processed. The delivery function instructs the end office switch to forward the call to the delivery function, where it is accessed for monitoring forwarded back to the end office switch. A similar method is used to process calls received by the SUS. In the case of IN, the identity of a line card assigned to a subscriber under surveillance (SUS) is changed to a number dedicated to surveillance subjects. Calls originated by the SUS are forwarded to a delivery function, which identifies the SUS based on the dedicated number of the calling party, intercepts call content, and forwards the call back to the end office switch with the called party id aid the original number and id of the SUS. The end office switch then completes the call.

  • Patent number: 6408177
Abstract: A system and method for providing a call management service subscriber with options for handling incoming calls, without using voice channel resources, is disclosed. When an incoming call is received by the call management system, caller information and menu options are provided to the subscriber in text form on a display, using a data channel, rather than in spoken form over a voice channel. This conserves air time and network resources while providing the subscriber with call handling options in a convenient and user-friendly form.

  • Patent number: 6404860
Abstract: A call management system provides an Internet call management service that permits a subscriber to receive information about incoming calls, and provides a personal message to the caller over a voice channel. The caller may be given a personal notification, as a spoken audio message that includes the callers's name, advising the caller that a personal message is forthcoming and requesting that the caller stand by to receive the personal message. The subscriber enters the personal message as text, which is transmitted over a data channel to the call management system. The call management system converts the text message into speech, and then “reads” the message as a spoken, audio message to the caller, using the voice channel over which the call was received by the call management system.

  • Patent number: 6385024
Abstract: A method for monitoring current in a power supply system including multiple parallel power supplies and current load sharing devices for each power supply. The error voltage generated by the current load sharing devices, in the process of balancing the power supply outputs, is proportional to current provided by a single power supply. The total number of power supplies may be determined by including a small current source with each power supply, and using the current sources to drive a “present” line, the current on this line indicating the number of power supplies present. The error voltage and the present line signal are used by a control circuit that includes analog-to-digital conversion and a CPU to calculate the total current drawn by the supply, and to trigger a circuit breaker if the total current exceeds a predetermined limit.

  • Patent number: 6353660
Abstract: A call screening method allows a subscriber to screen calls made to the subscriber from callers using the PSTN while the subscriber uses another communications medium. An enhanced services platform (ESP) receives a first call from a caller using a particular public telephone number for the particular subscriber. The ESP identifies the particular public telephone number for the particular subscriber. The ESP accesses a database storing a public telephone number and a private packet-based address for subscribers to retrieve a private packet-based address of the particular subscriber on the basis of the particular public telephone number. An introductory message is provided to the caller and prompts the caller to leave a message. The ESP accesses the particular subscriber based on the particular subscriber private packet-based address to establish an audio connection via the communication medium. The subscriber is notified of the first call.
