Abstract: A spirit level including first and second profile elements which can be displaced relative to one another in a telescopic manner and fixed relative to one another by means of a fixing element. In order to ensure that the first and second profile elements remain aligned with each other irrespective of their position, the first profile element is a hollow profile consisting of two sections which can be joined by means of the second profile element. The first section is joined to the second profile element and the second section can be moved along the remaining area of the second profile element. When the second profile element is at least partially uncovered by the second section, the second profile element can be subjected to the action of force in the direction of a profile wall of the second section of the first profile element.
Abstract: The invention relates to a laser apparatus as construction laser apparatus (10) comprising a light source accommodated inside a housing (12). For providing an increased protection of the apparatus and for adjusting the housing and thus the laser plane to the desired extent with constructive simple measurements, it is suggested that the housing (12) is enclosed by a receiving means (14), along which said housing (12) of the laser is arranged in adjustable manner.
Abstract: A water or spirit level is composed of an elongated body, preferably of metal, at least one bubble mounted in the elongated body, and end caps, preferably of plastics material, at the end faces of the elongated body, wherein at least one outer surface of the elongated body constitutes a preferred measuring surface. At least one of the end caps is releasably connected to the level body such that the end cap can optionally be removed and once again replaced.
Abstract: A laser level with a housing composed of two parts for storing the laser level in a protected manner, wherein the laser level is composed of an instrument body, bubble levels in the instrument body, a laser beam generator with lens system and a fixed leg and two vertically adjustable legs. One of the housing parts is provided with receptacles for the legs, wherein the receptacles are integrally formed at an inner side of the bottom of the housing part. The other housing part has receptacles for the legs, wherein the receptacles are integrally formed in an outer side of a cover of the housing part. At least one stand thread is provided at an inner side of the outer housing part.
Abstract: A water level includes a hollow metal section having at least one bottom measuring surface and side walls, and at least one position sensor, preferably a bubble level. Usually two bubble levels are provided. The metal section is closed by end caps. A protective cap of an elastic, impact-proof material is placed on the upper side of the metal section and the protective cap is placed on the metal section in such a way that an impact energy introduced at a single point-like location is distributed over a larger surface of the metal section.

Abstract: An apparatus for setting a level plane includes a spirit level having a parallelepiped shaped housing with a measuring base and a leveling plate with an upper plate surface on which the base of the housing of the level is disposed. The upper plate of the leveling plate may be tilt orientation adjusted with respect to a lower plate that is spaced away from the upper plate by adjustment screws between the upper and lower plates. The upper plate includes a ferromagnetic material and a pivot pin projecting up from it. The spirit level housing has a hole in which the pivot pin is disposed enabling the housing to be pivoted around the surface of upper plate. A retaining magnet in the housing in the region of the measuring base holds the housing to the upper plate. Alternatively, the spirit level housing has the ferromagnetic material while the magnet is in the upper plate. Alternatively, also, the housing includes the pin while the hole is in the upper plate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a roll tape measure comprising an extractable measuring tape. Attached to the free end of the measuring tape (1) is a stop hook (4) which comprises a stop member (5) which projects approximately at right angles with respect to the measuring tape (1). That surface (6) of the stop member (5) which faces the measuring tape (1) is coated with friction bodies (7). These consist, for example, of sapphire crystals having a grain size of approximately 0,12 mm. This coating with friction bodies (7) provides the stop hook (4) with a good grip on the edge of the objects to be measured and with a high degree of resistance to wear.
