Patents Assigned to STAHLWILLE Eduard Wille GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 11618138
Abstract: A release mechanism for an electronically triggered torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener triggers at a target torque. The release mechanism comprises a drive body and a main body, which rotate around a common axis to transfer a torque. A locking mechanism couples the drive body and the main body to transfer a torque. Measuring and evaluating means to measure and evaluate the torque transferred are provided, whereby a signaling device activates the locking mechanism to decouple the drive body from the main body upon reaching a target torque.

  • Patent number: 11518010
Abstract: A setting torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener to a target torque is disclosed. The torque tool comprises a main body with a housing and a drive shaft, which is firmly attached to the housing to transfer a torque. The drive shaft has a connection area, to which a drive can be connected. An adapter for an operating tool rotates together with the housing and the drive shaft to transfer the torque, Sensor measure and evaluate the torque transferred. A release mechanism, which is arranged in the housing, releases the torque tool upon reaching a target torque.

  • Publication number: 20210107121
Abstract: The invention relates to a torque tool, a torque testing device or a rotational angle testing device, with a user identification unit for identifying the user of the tool. The system further includes a user data unit in which user-specific data for handling the tool are collected, a work data unit in which work data for applications of the tool are collected, a learning unit connected to the user data unit, and the work data unit, in which data are recorded during an operation of the tool by the user and are compared with the data collected in the user data unit and the work data unit and are adapted in the event of a deviation. An adaptation unit is connected to the user data unit and the work data unit, and the operation of the tool is adaptable and controllable, depending on the user-specific data and the work data.
