Abstract: A method and system for effectively administering anticoagulation therapy, including providing a warfarin dose weekly schedule and converting a total weekly requirement into daily dosages based on the number of milligrams in the pills selected for treatment. A default pill size can be selected as well as other customizable features. Medications can be recorded simultaneously and potential drug interactions are highlighted. Dates on which the patient should return to the clinic are automatically calculated for review. The patient is provided with a hardcopy of the visit as well as the recommended warfarin dose schedule. The user is provided with several customizable options for recording pertinent visit data.
