Abstract: A dual connector having a main body is disclosed. The connector includes a body having inner and outer ledges and a slider having inner and outer tabs disposed on the body opposite the ledges. The main body can be connected to a surface. A first container having a first longitudinal dimension and two steps can be secured to the connector by securing the inner ledge over one step and the inner tab over the other step. A second container have a longer longitudinal dimension can be secured to the connector by securing the outer ledge over one step and the outer tab over the other step. In this manner, two containers having different lengths can be secured to a surface.

Abstract: A locking bar for a drawer storage module which may form part of a stackable storage system is disclosed. The module includes one or more slidable drawers and a locking bar which may be pivoted between a vertical position covering the drawers and securing them within the module and a horizontal position clear of the drawers so that they can be opened. The locking bar includes upper and lower through holes. The drawer storage module may be stacked and secured on a second drawer storage module, with the lower through hole of the upper locking bar overlying the upper through hole of the lower locking bar. A single padlock may be disposed through the overlying holes to secure the modules together and preclude the locking bars from being pivoted away from the position in which they secure the drawers within the module.

Abstract: A convertible sawhorse and work table assembly includes two sawhorse legs, a worktable and two pivoting support rods. The two support rods are pivotably attached to the work table near one end thereof and to one of the sawhorse legs at the other end thereof. When in the closed condition, the sawhorse legs are folded against each other, with the worktable folded along one of the legs and the two support rods folded against the other sawhorse leg. In a second condition, the sawhorse legs are pivoted away from each other with the worktable and support rods remaining folded against the legs. In a third condition, the table is pivoted upwardly away from the one sawhorse leg until it is disposed substantially horizontally above the sawhorse legs, and is then slid rearwardly relative thereto until the pivot support rods are fully extended away from the other sawhorse legs.

Abstract: A support for supporting a distance measurement device on a tool, includes a main body and an adjustment part. The main body includes an attachment part for removably attaching the support to a tool. The adjustment part is attached to the main body and includes a mount for removably mounting a distance measurement device thereto. The mount is movable with respect to the main body to adjust a position of the distance measurement device with respect to the main body. The distance measurement device may comprise a distance measuring roller configured for measuring distances along surfaces by rolling contact therewith. The distance measurement device may be removably attachable to a tool by means of the support, for measuring distances on a workpiece worked on by the tool.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a latch mechanism configured to secure two bodies together by simply placing one body on top of the other and applying moderate downward pressure to the top body. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch partially disposed within the housing. The latch includes a main body, and a primary hook and an opposing secondary hook both extending from the main body. The latch is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the primary hook is not obscured by the housing. In the second position, the primary hook is substantially obscured by the housing. The latch mechanism also includes a bias configured to bias the latch toward its first position.

Abstract: A storage module which may form part of a stackable storage system is disclosed. The module includes an upper surface having two front spring loaded latches on one side and two rear tabs formed on the opposite side. A sliding or rotating surface tab is disposed between each pair of a spring loaded latch and rear tab. The module includes front and rear lower projecting steps and can be stacked on each other by inserting the steps under the rear tabs and latches. Various sized containers may be disposed on the upper surface of a module in different configurations by making use of the latches, rear tabs and sliding tabs. The module may be a drawer storage module or a container with a pivoting cover.

Abstract: A carriage comprising: a housing able to be slidably mounted on a track, a platform on which can rest an object to be cut by a cutting device mounted on the track, a stop able to stop the object relative to the cutting device while the object rests on the platform, wherein the platform is movable relative to the housing between a raised position and a lowered position wherein the platform is closer to the track than in the raised position, when the housing is slidably mounted on the track.

Abstract: A stackable fan includes a base and a cover pivotable secured thereon. One or more fan blades is formed in the cover. The base includes two lower steps extending downwardly therefrom and a spring-biased latch extending upwardly from an upper edge. The cover includes a ledge having an overhanging portion disposed opposite the spring biased latch. The fan may be secured on top of the cover or beneath the base of variously sized storage containers which also includes steps and latches. The fan may be part of a stackable wheeled storage container system.

Abstract: A stackable storage system is disclosed. The system includes a base storage container disposed on a wheeled cart, and one or more additional storage containers removably secured on top of the base container. A main lid is disposed on the storage container and is pivotable between a position in which it covers at least a portion of the interior storage volume and a position in which it does not cover the interior storage volume. The main lid has a main lid opening formed therethrough. A secondary lid is pivotable between a position in which it covers the opening and a second position in which it does not cover the opening to allow access to the interior storage volume via the opening while the main lid covers the interior storage volume.

Abstract: A sawhorse includes a modular work surface supported by a frame. The modular work surface includes a first side portion, a second side portion and a central portion. The modular work surface is configured to move between a compact configuration and an expanded configuration. In the compact configuration the first side portion and the second side portion are adjacent to one another to provide a compact worktop and the central portion is positioned beneath the compact worktop. In the expanded configuration, the first side portion and the second side portion are distal to one another and the central portion is positioned therebetween to create an expanded worktop.

Abstract: A locking mechanism is configured to automatically secure a first object to a second object when the objects are adjacent one another. The locking mechanism selectively releases the objects from one another in response to the movement of a third object. The locking mechanism includes a latch having a base, a pivoting portion attached to the base, with the pivoting portion configured to pivotally secure the latch to the first object about an axis (A). The latch also includes a securing portion attached to the base. A receiving surface is configured to contact the second object as it comes into proximity with the first object and pivot the latch about the axis (A) in a first direction. The securing portion also includes a hook configured to automatically secure the second object to the first object when the objects are adjacent to one another.
