Abstract: A pipe coupling device for coupling flanged pipes includes a housing having first and second sections movable relative to one another between an open position and a closed position, said first and second sections each adapted to receive a portion of respective flanges of a pair of pipes to be coupled; fastening means for fastening the first and second sections around the flanges; and urging means adapted to be disposed in the housing with the flanges and to urge the flanges together as the first and second sections are closed around the flanges.
