Abstract: An exhaust after-treatment system associated with a diesel engine includes a diesel exhaust fluid storage unit. The storage unit includes a diesel exhaust fluid tank and a vent system coupled to the tank and configured to regulate flow of air into the tank and fluid vapor out of the tank.
Abstract: A fuel tank vent system includes a carbon canister and an engine fuel system coupled to the carbon canister. Fuel vapor discharged from a fuel tank included in the engine fuel system flows during certain conditions into the carbon canister to encounter charcoal stored in the carbon canister. Hydrocarbon material associated with the discharged fuel vapor is captured by the charcoal and a stream of cleaned vapor is discharged from the carbon canister to the atmosphere.
Abstract: According to the present disclosure, a fuel-delivery control system is provided for regulating flow through a filler neck into a fuel tank. The system includes a valve mount coupled to the fuel tank and formed to include a fuel-delivery channel and an inlet check valve positioned to lie in the fuel-delivery channel.

Abstract: A nozzle inhibitor is included in a fuel tank filler neck closure assembly. The nozzle inhibitor blocks full insertion of a small-diameter unleaded fuel nozzle into the filler neck closure assembly yet allows full insertion of a large-diameter diesel fuel nozzle into the filler neck closure assembly.

Abstract: A filler neck closure unit of a vehicle includes a closure cap adapted to close a fuel tank filler neck of the vehicle. Also included is a breakaway tether including a mount ring and a strap. The mount ring is coupled to the cap and formed to include a weakened, frangible section. The strap has a first end coupled to the mount ring and a second end adapted to be anchored to the vehicle which includes the fuel tank filler neck.
Abstract: A filler neck closure assembly is provided for a fuel tank filler neck. The closure assembly is configured to receive a fuel-dispensing pump nozzle and to regulate discharge of liquid fuel and fuel vapor from a fuel tank filler neck to the surroundings.
