  • Patent number: 10100509
Abstract: A crane-free system for moving a pre-fabricated enclosure includes a beam system and a system of coordinated self-contained hydraulic jack units, which in conjunction allow a pre-fabricated enclosure to be lifted off a semi-trailer, positioned by rolling on the system of beams above a pre-laid foundation, and lowered to the foundation. Optionally, the sliding beam system may be rotated using rotatable rollers to allow the pre-fabricated enclosure to move in a rotated direction. Optionally, a centering device and hydraulic ram may be used to center the pre-fabricated enclosure on the foundation.

  • Patent number: 9482021
Abstract: A non-crane system for moving a pre-fabricated enclosure is disclosed. The system comprises a sliding beam system and a system of coordinated self-contained hydraulic jack units, which in conjunction allow a pre-fabricated enclosure to be slid horizontally off a semi-trailer, positioned above a pre-laid foundation, and lowered to the foundation. Slide beams are arranged perpendicularly to the semi-trailer and supported by blocks at the height of the pre-fabricated enclosure. A cable attachment plate located on each slide beam connects to the pre-fabricated enclosure and is connected by a cable to winches placed at the end of each slide beam. The rotation of the winches pulls the pre-fabricated enclosure off the semi-trailer and onto the sliding beam system. The system of coordinated self-contained hydraulic jack units, which comprises multiple portable self-contained hydraulic jack units, then lowers the pre-fabricated enclosure to the foundation.

  • Publication number: 20140052335
Abstract: Wireless snow plow control methods and systems may include at least three units in mutual wireless communicative connection: a plow control module (PCM), a vehicle control module (VCM), and a remote controller. Each unit may be capable of operating with any one of a plurality of units of another type, with any one of multiple types of vehicles, and with any one of multiple types of snow plows. Three specific units of different types may automatically synchronize for operating a particular snow plow in response to commands from the remote. The VCM may be capable of automatically detecting a connection status of a snow plow, enabling/disabling snow plow lights and vehicle lights based on the connection status, controlling enabled vehicle lights, and wirelessly controlling enabled snow plow lights. The remote may wirelessly transmit commands either directly to the PCM, or to the VCM for forwarding to the PCM.

  • Publication number: 20060107875
Abstract: A method for the production of cement clinker comprises the introduction of non-traditional materials into the kiln, preferably at a mid-kiln locations. The non-traditional materials are materials that are difficult, expensive or environmentally challenging for disposal. In one embodiment, weathered clinker is introduced into the kiln to admix with the raw material mix to augment clinker production. In another embodiment, bird, animal or human manure is added to the kiln so that gaseous reducing agents can be released by the manure and combine with certain noxious gases generated during the clinker production, to thereby reduce the noxious gas output. In other embodiments, other non-traditional waste-derived fuels are added to the kiln during clinker production, including railroad ties coated with creosote, industrial, commercial and consumer rubber components, such as rubber hoses, unshredded plastics, and organic materials, such as bird and animal meal.

  • Patent number: 6923393
Abstract: The feed mixer of the present invention includes two upper horizontal augers having flighting thereon. Below and between the two upper augers is a rotor having helical paddle segments thereon. The two upper augers and the rotor all rotate in the same direction, but the two upper augers force material in one direction and the lower rotor forces material in the opposite direction. Knives on the outer edges of the upper augers and on the helical segments of the rotor act upon the hay to cut it and facilitate its mixing with other feed ingredients.

  • Patent number: 5967729
Abstract: This invention relates to a top loading, top unloading bottom discharge, ring drive silo unloader that is adapted for use with a hexapod suspension. The unloader features a stationary support frame with an open center concept. The support frame includes three main support members joined together to form a triangular frame. Three bracing members are added to the support frame to form an interior perimeter with a generally hexagon shape that delineates the open central area. A rotating drive ring is suspended from the support frame. An electric motor drives a chain loop that engages the exterior surface of the drive ring and causes it to rotate. A gathering mechanism that includes a subframe with a telescoping tubular support is suspended from the rotating drive ring. An auger is suspended from the tubular support.
