Abstract: Disclosed is a device for regulating motion of a drive component moving along or about a follower axis in response to linear motion of a master drive driven along or about a guiding axis x. The device includes two sensors for sensing the actual displacement along or about the two axes to produce two pairs of phase-shifted timing signals defining the actual displacements about respective axes. The timing signals are applied to a regulating difference generator which includes a forward/backward counter whose output delivers the regulating difference signal. The output of the counter is coupled to the follower drive. A desired displacement signal for the guiding axis is directly applied to the master drive.

Abstract: An electric switching device of the type having a contact system includes two stationary contact bars and movable contact bridges for interconnecting the bars. To convert the switching device from a circuit maker to a circuit breaker, or vice versa, a control member is provided in the form of a shiftable slide having insulating projections which in one end position of the slide are displaced between one bridge and a contact bar while the other projection is out of the range of movement of the bridges, and in the other end position the other insulating projection interrupts the contact between the other bridge and the assigned contact bar.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electric switching device of the type having a contact system including two stationary contact bars and movable contact bridges for interconnecting the bars. To convert the switching device from a circuit maker to a circuit breaker, or vice versa, there is provided a control member in the form of a shiftable slide having insulating projections which in one end position of the slide are displaced between one bridge and a contact bar while the other projection is out of the range of movement of the bridges, and in the other end position the other insulating projection interrupts the contact between the other bridge and the assigned contact bar. Abstract: Disclosed is an electromagnetic switching device of the type having a stationary core and a movable armature pivotably mounted in a guiding support. To adjust and re-adjust the stroke of the armature, the latter is provided with a removable pivot shaft having a polygonal central portion matching the corresponding passage in the armature. The cylindrical ends of the carrier shaft are coaxial with its axis of rotation, whereas the sides of the polygonal portion are unevenly spaced from the axis. An end face of the shaft is provided with indexing marks denoting the selected angular position of the shaft relative to the armature.

Abstract: In devices for mounting electrical devices, in particular switch, command or signal devices on a plate, like a bottom plate of a switch box or an assembly plate of a switch box or switch board of the type with at least one mounting bar for the devices disposed parallel to the plate as well as with two vertically-extending supports mounted on the plate for each mounting bar and with screw connections between the supports and the mounting bar, the difficulty exists that it is hard to reach the screw connections between the supports and the mounting bars, because of tight space conditions due to a tight arrangement of the devices relative to each other and due to the wiring which leads to the devices.

Abstract: Electric devices, like control and signal devices, in particular cam switches are mounted individually or in rows adjacent to each other and/or superimposed with respect to each other in bores of a mounting plate.In order to provide a device which is very simply constructed, simple to manipulate and which is usable for different embodiments of devices and lengths of devices it is suggested that a coupling plate with a spring clip is mounted on the front end of the device facing the mounting plate, and that an insert housing is provided which can be inserted from the outside through a bore and which is provided with a retaining device cooperating with the edge of the bore, and including actuating means cooperating with the spring of the coupling plate.

Abstract: A contact device for low voltage switch devices, includes at least two stationary contact bars with contact pieces, as well as at least one electrically-conductive contact bridge which is disposed in a contact bridge support and is movable by means of a spring force. In order to provide a good contact device wherein a weight and material saving is obtained, wherein simultaneously a switch-on impact of the contact is prevented and wherein a good adaptability of the movable contact pieces to the position of the stationary contact pieces is obtained, the contact bridge is made from a flexible material and a contact pressure spring for each of the two movable contact pieces is provided.

Abstract: A contact arrangement includes an elongated striker reciprocable in direction of its elongation and a pair of movable contacts moved by the striker and cooperating with adjacent stationary contacts so that during reciprocation of the striker between two end positions one of said movable contacts engages the stationary contact adjacent thereto while the other movable contact is spaced from the adjacent stationary contact, and vice versa.In order to obtain during the reciprocation of the striker up to the moment of switching the contacts a high contact pressure, the striker is provided with a guide extending transverse to its reciprocation direction for a movable guide body. Abstract: In a switch or relay and, more particularly, a power or auxiliary switch or relay with a contact system mounted in a housing, as well as a magnet system which actuates the contact system, considerable difficulties are encountered when the contacts of the contact system are disposed in at least two planes which are disposed at different distances from the mounting plane. In such a case, the contact connecting zones which are facing away from the mounting plane are covered by the wiring for the contact connecting screws which are further displaced from the mounting plane and therefore are not accessible. Since switches or relays of this type are usually installed in large numbers in rows and in a compact arrangement with respect to each other in switch or relay boxes, a predetermined standard width for the switches or relays should not be exceeded.

Furthermore, a switch-on contact with a self-locking contact is provided. In switches of this type, it is typically required to hold a switching operation for a longer time period, without necessitating the manually pushing down of a push key. The required separate switch-on contact is typically mounted in a separate large housing.
