A positioning groove is formed on the outer sides of the positioning base, while at least an elastic locking arm is formed on one side of the bulky body. By pressing the latch member, one can clearly feel or sense the locking or releasing of the hook portion of the elastic locking arm from the positioning groove.

    Abstract: A land grid array terminal is provided. The terminal includes a side plate, and two elastic arms respectively formed on the upper and lower portions of the side plate. At the central portion of the each elastic arm, a bend portion is formed protrusively facing towards each other. The terminal has a larger circuitry when it is not pressed. However, when the terminal is pressed, the bend portions of the elastic arms contact each other to form a shorter circuitry. This renders a shorter conducting circuitry and a better supporting strength.

    Abstract: A universal serial bus connector includes a main body and at least one indicator. The main body is formed from an insulator material, and has a plug inserting side and a board mounting side. The plug inserting side is formed with at least one plug slot that has a set of conductive contact terminals mounted therein. The contact terminals have solder tails that extend through the board mounting side. The indicator is mounted on the main body, and has power terminals separate from the contact terminals. When the contact terminals and the power terminals are mounted on a circuit board, the indicator can be controlled via the power terminals to indicate the status of signal transmission through the contact terminals.

At least one of the contact portion, elastic arm, and fixing portion of each grounding terminal is larger than that of the respective portion of the signal terminal.

    Abstract: A cable assembly has a flat cable, and a plurality of connectors connected to the flat cable. Each connector includes a plurality of signal terminals, at least one grounding piece and an insulating body. A specific grounding device is formed on a specific position of the grounding piece. The spacing wall of the grounding piece slot and the signal terminal slot of the insulating body with respect to the base of the grounding piece is hollowed so that when the grounding piece is inserted into the grounding piece slot, the specific grounding device passes through the hollow portion to directly contact at least one specific signal terminal in the adjacent signal terminal slot. The signal transferred by the at least one specific signal terminal will ground without passing through the specific conductive wire of the bank wire.

    Abstract: An improvement of the holder of an electric connector comprises a terminal seat, a plurality of terminals, embedding seats and embedding pieces. The terminal seat is made by insulating materials. A pair of symmetric embedding seats having a U shape are installed on the two ends of the terminal seat for receiving respective embedding pieces. A guide groove, a pivotal hole, fixing inclined surfaces is formed on the inner wall surface of the embedding seat, so that the embedding pieces is inserted into the embedding seat with a fixing angle, and the rotary angle of the embedding piece is confined. The lateral wall surface of the terminal seat is flat. Holding holes with a size thinner than that of the terminal hole are extended from the two sides of the terminal hole for firmly securing the terminal within the terminal seat.
