    Abstract: An internal shoe drum brake is provided with an automatic shoe adjusting device comprising a strut extending between the shoes; said strut being coupled to one shoe through a lost motion coupling and to the other shoe through a one-way coupling device comprising a cam rocker lever pivoted on one shoe. The end of the rocker lever opposed to the cam surface is connected through a tension spring to the other shoe.
