The networked computer system includes a promotions management computer server including a processor programmed to execute an algorithm to display an offer selection screen including an event calendar displaying a period of calendar dates, a period token balance associated with the period of calendar dates including an amount of tokens, and a plurality of promotional offers associated with the casino patron, with each promotional offer being displayed with an associated number of tokens. The processor receives a selection of one of the displayed promotional offers and a calendar date, assigns the selected promotional offer to the selected calendar date, reduces the period token balance by the number of tokens associated with the selected promotional offer, and modifies a patron account file to include the selected promotional offer assigned to the selected calendar date.

    Abstract: A verification system for verifying a user's location within a predefined geographic area to allow remote access to a sports book system. The system includes a transmitter; one or more pagers for communicating with the transmitter; a control center for receiving a telephone call requesting remote access to a betting system; upon receipt of the telephone call, the control center forwards an authorization number to the transmitter which forwards the authorization number to the user pager. The user pager receives the authorization number only when within the predefined geographical area. Also, the system includes a communication channel by which the user returns to the control center, the authorization number after receipt by the user pager. Upon receiving the authorization number, the control center allows the user to remotely access the betting system.

When the player terminates their gaming session, gaming activity data is sent to the player's file at the local database and as network data to the central database as well as other venue local databases to maintain a current record of gaming information throughout the system for the purposes of tracking wagering activity and providing promotions to the player based, at least in part, on that wagering activity.
