Abstract: A resiliently deformable member for use in an apparatus for dispensing a viscous material from a container, such as an apparatus consisting of a container for holding the viscous material and a dispensing gun. The resiliently deformable member has a relaxed state and a compressed state. In use, the resiliently deformable member applies a force between the container and the dispensing gun to modulate the flow of the material from the container.
