    Abstract: A hydraulic lifting mechanism, particularly suitable for a battery-powered industrial truck, including a hydraulic lifting cylinder, a hydraulic unit, operating as a pump in the load lifting operational mode, and supplying the lifting cylinder with pressure medium, and operating as a motor in the load lowering operational mode during which mode it is actuated by the pressure medium exiting from the lifting cylinder, and a DC generator coupled with the hydraulic unit operating as an electromotor in the load lifting operational mode and as a generator in the load lowering operational mode. A control valve arrangement is provided at the halfway point in the pressure path between the hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic unit, which is controlled by a lifting mechanism control. In addition, the lifting mechanism control controls a regenerative brake circuit supplied by the DC generator in the load lowering operational mode.

    Abstract: In a circuit for supervising the wear of carbon brushes making normally contact with a commutator of a direct-current electric motor of an electrically operated vehicle powered by an accumulator, and which includes main on-off switch for starting and stopping the vehicle, electrically insulated control brushes carried by the carbon brushes, and movable therewith, and a warning signal indicator normally connected to the control brushes, which provides a selectable optical and acoustic warning signal when the control brushes establish contact with the commutator upon a predetermined degree of wear of the carbon brushes, the improvement includes an electrical memory which has set and reset inputs, is connected to the control brushes, and controls the warning signal indicator. The control brushes set the memory upon establishing contact with the commutator.

    Abstract: System for storing and transporting guided missiles and similar flying bodies includes a storage building and movable storage structures for supporting multiple guided missiles. The storage building is sized so that a row of the storage structures can be arranged along one side wall of the storage building with the normal travel direction of the structures being arranged transversely of the direction of the row and of the adjacent side wall. In the row, the storage structures are closely spaced so that there is no walkway between them. A passageway is provided within the storage building along the row of storage structures so that each storage structure can be moved out of the row without moving adjacent storage structures and then turned on a minimum turning circle in the passageway for movement out of the storage building.

    Abstract: An arrangement for assembling and conveying a number of elongated cylindrical loads such as aerial bombs, the loads being collectively supported in a carrier, includes an elongated single load supply track for delivering single ones of the loads to a collecting location. A positioning device at the collecting location arranges three of the loads from the supply track in a triangular configuration so that the axes of the single loads extend parallel to one another. The positioning device includes first and second load stands each arranged to support a different one of the single loads at the same level as the single loads on the supply track. A third load stand between the first and second load stands supports a third single load, and a mechanism associated with the third load stand lowers the third load from the level of the supply track to a certain level below that of the loads supported on the first and second stands.
