Publication number: 20190008313Abstract: An apparatus is provided with an outlet, in particular for milk froth, which apparatus can be moved in two or three coordinate directions (x, y, z) using a control unit. When dispensing the fluid, a graphic pattern can thus be created automatically on the surface of the beverage dispensed into the container, preferably coffee. A pivotably housed guide sleeve and a hose element are provided with the outlet, which element can be pivoted in the sleeve and through which element the milk froth passes. This outlet can be moved with the hose element and the guide sleeve in a plane in these two coordinate directions (x, y) above the container in controlled manner, and the milk froth can thus be dispensed into the container. The result is a compact structure of the apparatus and this can be integrated into a coffee machine in a very space-saving manner.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2018Publication date: January 10, 2019Applicant: STEINER AG WEGGISInventor: Adrian Steiner

Publication number: 20190008314Abstract: Coffee machine including a housing frame and device for generating coffee, and an integrated device for dispensing milk froth onto a coffee drink in a container. This device, possibly in the form of a robot, includes a dispenser controllable to enable automated movement in two or three coordinate directions, and dispenses the milk froth directly onto a surface of the coffee drink previously poured into the container. An automated movement mechanism controls movement of the dispenser during dispensing of the milk froth to cause automatic and controlled addition of a specific amount of the milk froth onto the coffee drink surface and produce an aesthetically decorative graphic pattern thereon. The specific amount of milk froth remains on and/or beneath the coffee drink surface. The coffee drink is poured into the container and the graphic pattern of milk forth is produced on the coffee drink surface by the same coffee machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 21, 2018Publication date: January 10, 2019Applicant: STEINER AG WEGGISInventor: Adrian Steiner

Patent number: 9622618Abstract: Coffee grinder includes two grinding discs that can be rotated in opposite directions, the axial distance between which defines the degree of grinding of the coffee powder produced. The grinding discs are mounted one over the other within a grinder body, the lower grinding disc being rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation while the upper grinding disc can be adjusted non-rotatably and by an eccentric shaft relative to the lower grinding disc in the direction of the vertical axis of rotation. By rotating the eccentric shaft with a motorized drive, the space between the grinding discs can be changed. This enables almost infinite regulation of the degree of grinding when preparing the coffee.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 2014Date of Patent: April 18, 2017Assignee: Steiner AG WeggisInventor: Adrian Steiner

Patent number: 8925441Abstract: A coffee machine including a boiler for producing hot water and steam for the preparation of coffee or coffee-containing beverages. A coiled tubing is located in the boiler for producing hot milk or milk froth. Thus, no separate heating element is required for producing the hot milk or milk froth, as the milk or milk froth is heated by the water heated in the boiler for preparing the coffee. The coiled tubing is connected alternately to a milk container and a rinsing water source, so that potential milk residue is flushed out after each milk heating process. A predetermined amount of milk or rinsing water is fed to the coiled tubing by a pump. Thus the milk and rinsing water usage is optimized and the energy consumption is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2009Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Assignee: Steiner AG WeggisInventor: Adrian Steiner
