  • Patent number: 9424635
Abstract: Individual grain sorting of objects from bulk materials (3) on a conveying device (1) and an actuable discharge unit (2) which separates into fractions, the height distribution of the object (3.1) and the propagation of a light source (4) are advantageously used as sorting criterion, wherein a light-band (4.1) is projected transversely with respect to a conveying direction of the bulk material (3) on a plane of the conveying device (1), the objects (3.1) are moved through under the light-band (4.1), a first part (4.1.1) of the light is reflected, a second part (4.1.2) enters again at an entry point (11.1), is scattered and exits again at an exit point (3.1.2), a scattered propagation (B) is detected by a camera (9), and contiguous regions are identified in buffered rows (13), and the measured values are subjected to an evaluation and are combined to form characteristic values, and the discharge unit (2) is actuated in dependence on preset sorting parameters.

  • Publication number: 20080309444
Abstract: An electrical winding contains a metallic winding conductor forming individual windings. The metallic winding conductor contains a metallic conductor and an electrically insulating material surrounding the metallic conductor. An insulation inside the electrical winding can be ensured in a targeted manner by combining an electrically insulating material with a metal oxide layer surrounding the metallic winding conductor, according to the maximum electric strength required inside the electrical winding. In this way, a reduced-size electrical winding can be produced with improved heat properties. An electrical insulation of a metallic electric conductor is further described.

  • Patent number: 7367457
Abstract: In an arrangement which including a motor-driven system for the separation of non-magnetisable metals, vibrations and resonances which generally are present in such arrangement, are eliminated. This is accomplished by utilizing a drum mounted on and rotating about a stator, within which a magnetic rotor fitted with permanent magnets is eccentrically arranged and mounted on said stator. The stator is provided with a balance weight for mass balance.

  • Patent number: 5092986
Abstract: A magnetic separator is provided in which a conveyor belt is conducted over a belt drum to transport relatively electrically conductive particles. A magnetic system consisting of permanent magnets or electromagnets is rotated at a high speed at an eccentric location within the belt drum so that an air gap between the outer surface of the magnet system and the inner surface of the belt drum is not constant. As a result, the magnetic lines of force lose their influence on an iron particle coming between the belt drum and the conveyor belt. These iron particles can be removed from the belt drum or the conveyor belt by scrapers to avoid damage to the belt drum.
