    Abstract: A polestand that supports and elevates peripheral devices such as electronic flat screen computer monitors. The polestand has either a base, a pole, and a collar or a pole, which can be vertically secured, and a collar. The collar has a support mount that accommodates components including a moveable extension arm and a tilter which are attached to the peripheral device. The polestand is balanced in such a way as to prevent or minimize the risk of tipping.
